Licensing

The maintained Xdelta 3.x branches in this repository — main and the release3_*_apl release branches — are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The original author re-licensed these sources under the APL; see the LICENSE file in the repository.

You may use, distribute, and embed these Apache-licensed sources (including linking against the library API) under the terms of the Apache License 2.0.

The original GPL line is separate

Earlier Xdelta releases were distributed under the GNU GPL version 2. That GPL-licensed line lives separately at https://github.com/jmacd/xdelta-gpl and is not covered by the Apache license described here. Make sure you know which sources you are using.
